The Downtown San Leandro Farmers Market offers the best in local products— fresh produce, locally grown flowers and plants, tasty snacks, and prepared gourmet food. Every Wednesday night, residents and visitors alike can visit the Main Library at 300 Estudillo Ave. to browse street vendors, enjoy live music, and partake in a community gathering that’s fun for the whole family. The seasonal farmers market is open every Wednesday night beginning in April and lasting through mid-October from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Parking is free at the City Downtown Garage (122 Estudillo Ave.)
It’s A Wonderful Night Holiday Celebration

Tree Lighting at 5:30PM
Kick-off the holidays on the first Friday in December with the annual Downtown Holiday Tree Lighting at 5:30 pm in Estudillo Plaza (Estudillo Ave. @ E. 14th St.) then enjoy hands-on crafts and games for children, horse-drawn carriage rides, and free outdoor holiday movies. Downtown San Leandro BART is just three blocks away and free event parking is available in the City Parking Lot (Dan Niemi Way @ Davis St.) and the City Parking Garage (122 Estudillo Ave.)
Downtown Earth Day Family Festival
10 AM – 12 PM
Families with young children are invited to the Casa Peralta (384 W. Estudillo) grounds to celebrate, honor, and learn how to protect our planet with hands-on activities, eco-story time, “Buy Nothing” toy swap, and much more. Just two blocks from Downtown San Leandro BART, plan to take earth-friendly transportation! Free parking is also available one block away at the City Parking Lot (Dan Niemi Way @ Davis St.)
