San Leandro History Museum
Located next to the historic Casa Peralta at 320 W. Estudillo, the San Leandro History Museum has a variety of exhibits and special events for the whole family.
First settled by native peoples over 2,000 years ago, San Leandro has been shaped by waves of migrants from all over the world. At the San Leandro History Museum, a timeline guides visitors through its history beginning with the Muwekma Ohlone through Spanish/Mexican settlers, the Gold Rush, the establishment of the City all the way through World War II.
