Join the San Leandro Library for an evening star party! Astronomy volunteers from the Eastbay Astronomical Society will bring telescopes to share close-up views of the Moon, planets, star clusters, nebulae, and more for an inspiring experience of the night sky. They’ll also have space-themed crafts in the children’s library before the star gazing begins. Sample astronaut ice cream, while supplies last!
6:30pm-7:30pm: enjoy space-themed crafts inside the children’s library
7:00pm-9:00pm: view the night sky with telescopes on the Library’s outdoor plaza
Dress for the weather as the star gazing takes place outdoors on the plaza in front of the Main Library.
